Dear Players, Coaches and Families of SRLL,

Thank you for your patience!  We were all hoping to get back to baseball as we know it, but the Spring season is now officially over and we still have many obstacles for gameplay.  Our main fields at Jerabek will be closed until mid August and youth sports is just starting to reopen with games not in the plan.  So as youth sports begin to open up this Summer, SRLL is giving you an opportunity to play a little baseball.  Here is what we are going to offer:

 

First, all Spring Registrants will be offered to attend SRLL Baseball Camps in July (except for Challenger).  There will be no cost for these Camps, and be offered as 2 hour sessions, 2-3 times a week.  The camps will be limited to 12 players per field and be division appropriate.  SRLL will need commitments from you before we finalize activities.  These details will be sent out later next week as the following documents are being finalized.

• Parent Commitment COVID-19 Form Summer 2020

Please know that these Camps are entirely voluntary and participants will have to follow all the guidelines required by our City Health Officials and SRLL.  

 

Second, All Spring Registrants will be offered a $60 refund ($45 Deposit paid at registration + $15 partial refund) for Spring Season at all levels except for Challenger.  Challenger Registrants will receive their full $50 refund.  This was determined from the remaining funds available after our start up costs.  As you know, the timing could not have been worse as we just started games when the rain and stay at home orders washed away our season.  You will receive an email next week providing direction on how to proceed with the refund.  There will be an option to donate the refund back to league as many of you have kindly offered, thank you!

 

Third, SRLL is looking to have FallBall as we have done in the past, as long as youth games become available again.  Plans for FallBall will be made in July.
