Spring 2026 Information
We're excited to bring you the 2026 Spring Little League season, running from early January through the end of May. All-Stars and similar tournaments typically run through June and into July, depending on how far teams advance.

* T-Ball and Rookies registration stays open a few extra weeks since they don’t require assessments and team placement is less critical in the youngest divisions.
Divisions Available
The following programs and age ranges are available. Per Little League guidelines, "league age" is the player's age on 8/31/26. During registration, only the applicable programs will be displayed based on your child's age.
- T-Ball (4-6)
- Rookies (6-7)
- MAPS (6-8)
- Lower Minors (8-10)
- Upper Minors (9-11)
- Majors (10-12)
- Intermediates (12-13)
- Juniors (13-14)
- Challenger (all ages; developmentally challenged)

Important League Eligibility Update (Effective 2025)
From Little League: "Starting with the 2025 season, children at the youngest level of the Little League Baseball program (League Age 4-7) may register for any Little League program they choose, regardless of geography or school eligibility. Those players will be fully eligible to participate in all aspects of league play, including International Tournament play, for the duration of their Little League careers provided they have continuous, unbroken participation in the league where initially registered and all other eligibility requirements are met." What this means for SRLL: Functionally, not much - anyone can play regardless of where they live. Due to SRLL's popularity, divisions may fill faster than usual.
Mandatory Assessments
Mandatory player assessments (for MAPS through Intermediate) will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at CP2. Little League requires all players to be assessed prior to team placement.

Assessing Up a Division (Overlapping Divisions)
Some divisions overlap by age. Example: age 10 can be Upper Minors or Majors. Skill, not age, is the primary factor in placement, and you may choose which division to register for.
Register for the higher division you want to assess for. If your player is not drafted there, they will be placed in the next lower division.
If you change your mind after assessments and wish to move down, you must notify us before Drafts and Team Assignments begin. After teams are assigned, division changes are not possible.
Practices & Games Schedules
- Practices start in February. For the first month: twice per week - one weekday after school and one Saturday.
- Games begin in late February or early March on Saturdays and replace the Saturday practice.
- After Daylight Saving Time (early to mid March), the weekday practice is typically replaced with a game. Managers may schedule an additional optional weekday practice as personnel and fields allow.
- Mid-week days and Saturday times vary by team and division and will be announced 1-2 weeks prior to the start.
- Regular season ends just before Memorial Day. Playoffs and All-Stars run late May into June and July depending on advancement.
Scheduling nearly 600 players across 50-60 teams and 7+ divisions is both an art and a science - thanks for your patience as schedules are finalized.
Prices
We are introducing a new pricing structure for the 2026 season.
- T-Ball & Rookies - $210
- MAPS, Lower Minors & Upper Minors - $225
- Majors, Intermediates & Juniors - $250
- Challenger - $50*
- Early Bird (11/15-11/30/25): $30 discount
- Late Registration (After 1/1/26): $50 late fee
* Challenger Division is not affected by Late Fees, Early Bird Discounts, or Volunteer Fees.
Managers, Coaches and Volunteers
Our league thrives on the dedication and hard work of our amazing volunteers! If you’re interested in managing or coaching a team, or helping behind the scenes on the board, we’d love to have you involved. A $75 volunteer fee will be charged during registration and refunded at the end of the season once you’ve completed a volunteer role - such as Manager, Coach, Board Member, or another approved opportunities throughout the season such as umpiring, working the snack bar, helping at league wide-events such as Opening Day, and more. (details will be shared as the season progresses).
If you’re interested in managing, coaching, or serving on the board, please be sure to select the appropriate option during checkout. All Managers, Coaches, and Board Members are required to complete a background screening.
Other Notes
- Multi-player discount of $10 per additional child (must register at the same time).
- For ages 8 and over*: if your child did not participate in last Spring's season, you will need to provide proof of age and residency (92131) at walk-in registration.
- Walk-in registration may be available depending on league and division capacity (details TBD).
- Proof of residency and age and optional forms may be submitted at walk-in registration, dropped at The UPS Store (between Vons and Public House 131), or mailed to the address below.

Skills Clinics
We are excited to offer pre-season skills clinics. Most are free* and cover proper mechanics, new drills, and "homework" ideas to keep improving.

Umpiring
SRLL offers one of the best youth umpire programs in Little League. Youth umpires build responsibility, learn the rules of baseball, and earn money. We welcome both experienced and new umpires. Training starts a few weeks before the season and continues throughout the year.

Refund Policy
- All refund requests must be emailed to the registrar at [email protected].
- Maximum refund for credit card payments is amount paid minus a $3 online service charge (checks do not incur this fee).
- Late fees are not refundable.
- 100% of registration and snack bar fees (minus credit card and late charges above) are refundable for requests received before the end of assessments.
- 50% of registration and 100% of snack bar fees (minus credit card and late charges above) are refundable for requests received between the end of assessments and the start of the playing season.
- No registration fee refunds once the season officially starts (early March).
