2024 Mandatory Assessments Details
2025 ASSESSMENTS??
If you are looking for Information about the 2025 Assessments,
.
Little League requires that all players
(for MAPS through Intermediate)
be assessed prior to being placed on a team for the season.
T-ball & Rookies do NOT participate in assessments
Details for the upcoming season assessments are below.
• Regular Assessments: Saturday 1/6/24 @ CP2
• Rain Delay Backup: Tuesday 1/20/20 @ CP2
For specific park locations, visit the
Fields Page
.
Times
Assessments typically take place between 8am and 5pm on that Saturday. The exact times depend on how many players we have per division. They start with older divisions and work their way down. Majors/Intermediates go as early as 8AM followed by Uppers, Lowers, and MAPS with a finish time of mid/late-afternoon.
We highly recommend that you make the primary day assessments. Makeup assessments will be available (Details TBD) but keep in mind that they usually occur during the mid-week in the late afternoon / early evening which means the kids are assessing under the lights after dark - which will be a new/different experience for many.
Equipment
Your player should be dressed in baseball attire and ready to play. Your player will need a glove, hat, cleats, a helmet, protective cup, and a bat [USA approved bats (MAPS through Intermediate) or BBCOR (Intermediate only)].
How It Works
Players are assessed in groups of roughly a dozen at a time. Each group's assessment lasts for about 15 to 20 minutes. Players will be asked to field two fly balls and make throws from the outfield, field two ground balls at shortstop and throw to first, hit five pitches off a pitching machine, run the bases... and have fun!
Either way, we will keep you updated as the details become more finalized. If you have any questions about assessments, please send an email to
